Photos from your fundraiser, without a photographer's bill

Charities need event photos more than most, for thank-yous, reports and next year's appeal, and rarely have the budget. Your guests are already taking them.

Free for up to 50 photos, kept for 7 days from creation. Upgrade for unlimited photos and videos.

No sign-up needed. By creating an album you agree to our Terms of Use.

How it works

  1. Create your event. Give it a name and a date. It takes under a minute, and you don't need a password or a card.
  2. Share the QR code. Print the free table cards, add the code to your invitations, or drop the link in a group chat.
  3. Guests scan and upload. They open the page in their phone's browser and pick their photos. No app, no sign-up.
  4. See every photo in one place. Browse the album from your dashboard. Paid plans add videos, a ZIP of everything and a live slideshow.

Recommended setup

Plan
Event Pro (€29 once) for full-size photos and a ZIP. Big Event (€59 once) adds a live slideshow during the dinner.
Album setting
Upload-only if you'll use photos publicly and want to check them first.
Where to put the code
Table centrepieces, the raffle table and a slide on the screen.
Create it
When you print menus or programmes, on a paid plan, so it's still live on the night.

Wording you can copy for your sign

Tonight is helping us do more. Help us share it: scan to add your photos. We may use them to thank supporters, and will remove any on request.

A free album is deleted 7 days after you create it, so upgrade before printing anything ahead of time. Compare plans.

Fundraising content from one night

A few strong photos go a long way: a thank-you email to donors, your annual report and your next ticket page. Pictures taken by guests feel more personal than staged ones, and people like seeing themselves. They're a good supplement if you're paying for a photographer for only part of the night.

Add it to the running order

Have the MC mention the album once, ideally right after an emotional moment or the raffle. Put the QR code on the holding slide if you have a screen. On Big Event, the slideshow can run during dinner, which gets people uploading. As there's no approval step, keep someone close to the dashboard if it's running in the room.

Being clear about how you'll use photos

Tell guests on the sign that you might use their photos publicly, and how to get one removed. If your event features beneficiaries, particularly children or people in vulnerable situations, follow your charity's own safeguarding policy, and get specific permission. See our sample notice.

Questions

Do you offer charity discounts?

There's no published charity price. The free plan is available to anyone, and a paid plan is one payment per event, with no subscription. You can ask us at hello@scanandsnap.com.

Can sponsors get a copy of the photos?

You can download everything as a ZIP on a paid plan, and choose what you share with sponsors. Check you're comfortable with the permission you've asked for first.
