Guest photo albums for hotels and event venues
Your venue already hosts the day. A QR album is a small extra you can offer couples and party bookings: simple to run, and useful if your signal isn't the best.
How it works
- Create your event. Give it a name and a date. It takes under a minute, and you don't need a password or a card.
- Share the QR code. Print the free table cards, add the code to your invitations, or drop the link in a group chat.
- Guests scan and upload. They open the page in their phone's browser and pick their photos. No app, no sign-up.
- See every photo in one place. Browse the album from your dashboard. Paid plans add videos, a ZIP of everything and a live slideshow.
Recommended setup
- Plan
- Event Pro (€29 once per event). Big Event (€59 once) for a live slideshow on your function room screen.
- Who creates it
- Your events coordinator, or give the couple the link to this page and let them do it.
- Where to put the code
- Table cards, the entrance sign and your room's AV screen.
- Test it first
- Upload from the back of the function room, on mobile data and on your guest Wi-Fi.
Wording you can copy for your sign
Welcome to the Castle Hotel. Share your photos from today: scan with your camera and add them to the couple's album. No app needed.
A free album is deleted 7 days after you create it, so upgrade before printing anything ahead of time. Compare plans.
See what you and your guests get

Weak signal, thick walls
Old buildings and rural locations can have poor phone coverage. Uploads go in small pieces and carry on after a dropped connection, as long as the page stays open, and guests can finish from home the next day. Clear guest Wi-Fi details on the same card as the QR code will also help.
Ways to offer it
You could include it in your wedding package, offer it as an add-on, or simply recommend it. The cost is a one-off payment per event, with no monthly fee. Whichever you choose, the couple should receive the private dashboard link, because the photos are theirs and they're the ones who'll decide who sees them.
What it doesn't do yet
We don't have a venue account, venue branding or a single dashboard for all your events at the moment, and each event is its own album with its own link. If you host a lot of events, get in touch at hello@scanandsnap.com, so we can talk about what you'd need.
Questions
Who's responsible for the photos?
Whoever creates the album decides how it's used. If a couple is running it, that's them. If your venue will use photos in marketing, you'll need permission from the people in them.
Does our guest Wi-Fi have to allow anything special?
No. It's an ordinary secure website, so normal internet access is enough. Check that your guest Wi-Fi doesn't block uploads by testing one before the event.
